On Feb 15th, 2013, a team from the Hellenic Social Lawn Bowls Association of NSW travelled to Perth to compete for the Hellenic interstate sheild. They stayed on in Perth until Feb 21st, 2013. Two Kytherians - John Prineas and Paul Summers - were part of the winning team. They defeated both the Victorian and Western Australian teams, and "bought back the shield".
