agios nikolaos , on the northern tip of the island , past the village of platia ammos is another relatively quiet summer beach location with not many people swimming there during the august summer period making agios nickolas another one of kytheras best kept secrets....

just below the little church of agios nikolaos at agia pelagia[kalamitse]is this little cave,with a beach inside,top spot for a nice swim and snorkle.
inside the cave with cystral clear waters,makes for a ideal swim.

past ayios nikolaos and near the lighthouse this northern beach is in a very remote part of the island.you can be easily lost trying to find this beach,even the local i went with had trouble finding it,there are many dirt roads down to the beach and the area is surrounded by a lovely forest.
