Greek National elections - 20th September, 2015. What a "buzz" that was. But what an extraordinary system that operates in Greece. I was handed the same sized pamphlet for every party. Outside Ayios Haralambos Church, Karavas. September, 2008. They have just completed inspecting some of the damage caused by dampness in the church. Theo Kapatanios Poulos is an Executive Member of the Karavitiko Symposium, Sydney. Outline as to how the damage occurred A row of large trees had been planted in the earth about 3 metres to the left of the southern side wall of the Church at Ayios Haralambos.

Daughter of John Vassis & Eleni Tzortzopoulos, and grandaughter of Haralambos Tzortzopoulos & Panayotitssa Vaggis.
A Relative. My maternal grandmother, Yeoryia Koroneos, was a Mentis. My mother always referred to herself as a "Mentitha" in preference to a "Koroneissa. The Mentis derive from the adjacent island of Lafonnissi - where they continue to dominate the population statistics. The first woman I met on the trip to the island (June 28, 2007) was a Mentis..tou Yanni.

Sophie Poulos (Tzortzopoulos) was born in Gladstone, QLD, Australia to a Kytherian father and an Australian mother. In 1978 her father Nikolas Tzortzopoulos took his family to live on Kythera. They lived in the scholi (the former agricultural school) in Karavas. Sophie was 14 years old at the time.
