At Polyxene's house, map in hand.

George Poulos and Vikki Fraioli had ventured off Highway 1 during their sojourn from San Fransisco to Los Angeles to visit her.

And what a delightful and refreshing personality she proved to be.

Polyxene obviously thought that George was a bit of a comedian - "...I don't want him to get carried away, he is so funny - I still laugh when I think of his antics".

Vikki - "...we stopped in Templeton to visit Kytherian, Polyxene McClory (nee Souris), who we became acquainted with through Kythera-famiy.net. She had graciously invited us to her home for dinner and shared her old photographs of relatives from Kythera. George vowed to try to reconnect her with her Souris relatives from Karava".

Polyxene: "My father, Ioanni Haralambos Souris, was born in Kythera. I do not know what village he was born in. To the best of my knowledge his parents were Haralambos and Kalimera (Kalli) Souris. I do not know her maiden name, nor their birth dates. They had 8 or 9 children, four of whom came to the United States and married U.S. citizens.

My mother was born in Athens. She did not marry my father until she grew up in the U.S. and they met here".
