Sept 2008. (3) Toki Koizumi, the grandson of Lafcadio Hearn visits Kythera to pay homage to his grandparents.

Toki Koizumi (left, back to camera), Ioannis Γ Kasimatis, (left foreground), his grandfathers' biographer, and his host on the island, centre.

George Haros from Saint George Smallgoods, Sydney, a great benefactor to the Kytherian Association of Australia, to the right. George acted as an interpreter between Toki and Ioannis, by using English as the intermediary language.

The three of them visited the gravesite of Toki's grandmother, Rosa Antonia Kassimati.
