Continuation of the official Queensland launch of the www.kythera-family.net website...

 

...and, the book by Peter Prineas, Katsehamos and the Great Idea. Held on the 15th April, 2007, at the Cyprus Club, West End, Brisbane, Australia.

Sandy McNaughton, Manager of the Roxy Theatre, Bingara, had given a talk at the launch, about the Kytherian involvement in the town, the restoration of the Roxy, the purchase of "Kytherian shop fittings" from Inverell (Fardoulys) by the Council, a proposal to purchase the freehold, & finance, and operate an authentic "Kytherian milk-bar" in the position within the Roxy building now occupied by a Chinese cafe, and the possibility of opening the North Eastern Australian Museum of Kytherian History, in 200 sq metres of space, above the cafe.
