Document: Donation of Lafcadio Hearn books to the Kytherian Association Library and Research Centre

Titles included Exotics and Retrospectives, Shadowings, In Ghostly Japan, and Kotto, Being Japanese Curios with Sundry Cobwebs.

Hearn Society, Athens, through its International Cultural Coordinator, Takis Efstathiou, has donated 4 books by Lafcadio Hearn to the Kytherian Association Library in Sydney

The books were sent from Athens at Takis expense.

It is a marvellous gesture, as the Kytherian Association Library did not have any books by Lafcadio Hearn in its collection, until this month.

The Kytherian Association, in particular Cultural Officer George Vardas, and Library Officer, George Poulos, would like to convey their deep appreciation to Takis Efstathiou, for this act of benificence.

**Don't forget the Kytherian Association Library as the perfect repository for books with a Hellenic or Kytherian subject. Don't throw family books out to be pulped. They will have a much better "home" in the Kytherian Library, where subsequent generations of Kytherians and Hellenes can benefit from them.
