Child prodigy of Greek cinema and theatre was born of Kytherian parents (from Mitata) in Athens, on June 16, 1953. He began his career is movies at a very young age, appearing in 1957 in the film The Last Lie. He very soon established a distinctive record as a young supporting actor. This photo shows Dimitrios Firos of Mitata in 1924. Two of his sons, Tony and John, settled in California. Tony never married, and John married Maria Dolores from Spain. Dimitrios' son Theo settled in Australia. Dimitrios' daughter Helen married Gregory Prineas and settled in Illinois, USA. Dimitrios also had another daughter, Irene, who may have remained on Kythera. This is a photo taken Approx 1919 showing my father Sotiris Prineas (Karapatis, also known as Cecil Prineas in Brisbane) as a soldier with my uncle Kosma and their father Dimitris Prineas. I am not sure about the date, because my uncle Kosma who was an officer in the Greek army, was killed during the Smirni war. CAN ANYONE HELP

George Peter Prineas (Melehas) This is his ID/Pass Card while he was serving in the British Peace Police in the Balkans in 1919-20. (Vretaniki Apostoli Astinomias)He returned as volunteer from the United States to serve in Greece. Note. Wedding photo of my father George P. Prineas (Melehas) who married Stratoula Tsaousi (Viaros) from Viaradika. Married in 1928, my mother Stratoula was 20yo. My father died in 1975 after many trips to Austarlia and back. He was 80-years-old. My mother Stratoula is still going strong and in October 2005 will be 97yo. Children??? Look up next photo...
