He is married to Gogo. They have no children.

Known as "o loyoteknitis".

He has had a hip replacement, and walks with some difficulty, but he is always "upbeat", and highly excitable.

He becomes very excitable when he meets "exoterikï" who are interested in the culture and heritage of Kythera and Greece.

He has written 16 books, 14 of which have been published.

Many of these books, such as (4, below) Venetian phrases and language from the Ionian Islands, (7) Lafcadio Hearn, and the (14) The Watermills of Kythera, urgently need to be translated into English, in order to be appreciated by a wider audience.

He resides in Athens permanently, but maintains his "patriko spitti" on the outskirts of Livathi on the road that leads to Myrtithotissa.
