MAJOR MEDAL WINNERS 34th INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF INVENTIONS, GENEVA, 5th-9th April 2006 The 2006 Exhibition was a great success for Australian inventors. They won two Gold and one Silver and one Bronze medal. Even more important than these prestigious awards was that all the inventors made valuable business contacts which hopefully will, in time, develop into lucrative licensing agreements. The Sydney based Notaras brothers, Angelo and John won a Gold Medal with the congratulations of the Jury for their Atom Tiller. It is easy to use, and cultivates garden soil in minutes. It has many patented features. It can be operated by gasoline or electricity. They are available in 4 tine (230mm) and 6 tine (330mm) models, and can be used in any type of soil condition without changing . The tine cover is easy to remove. Eight ball and thrust bearings drive the mechanism. There are no bush bearings. A solid steel drive shaft with worm gear drive and clutch drum powers the unit. A single wheel with a rubber tyre is mounted on a 6 position height adjustment wheel arm. Anti vibration rubbers on the body and handles mean smoother operating conditions. Handles can be removed for storage. Expressions of interest are being sought from companies interested in manufacture and distribution in all territories.
