In six weeks time the historic Saraton Theatre in Grafton will re-open.

The theatre will seat 1000 people and attract high profile film and live performances to the Clarence Valley.

The multimillion dollar refurbishment comes at no cost to the Council or the community.

It has been a labour of love of the Notaras family who have lived in the region for over 80 years.

Fiona Poole went onsite with Spiro Notaras to see the lengths this family has gone to, to bring the theatre back to life.
