"The Nightingale and the Rose"

The Philharmonic River Kythera concert organized project-based story of Oscar Wilde, "The Nightingale and the Rose."
The tale, a hymn to idealism of love, converses with music of the 16th and 17th centuries, of Purcell, Praetorius, Gervaise, Attaingnant and Susato as well as contemporary songs.

With 'enriched' wind orchestra Philharmonic and guest actress Chrysanthou Georgiadou (narration, vocals) and Kostas Rosie (song).

The idea and the project is curated by Panagiotis Leftheris.

" Η αηδόνα και το ρόδο"

Η Φιλαρμονική Ποταμού Κυθήρων οργανώνει project-συναυλία βασισμένη στο παραμύθι του Όσκαρ Ουάιλντ, " η αηδόνα και το ρόδο".
Το παραμύθι, ένας ύμνος στον ιδεαλισμό του έρωτα, συνδιαλέγεται με μουσικές του 16ου και 17ου αιώνα, των Purcell, Praetorius, Gervaise, Attaingnant και Susato καθώς και με σύγχρονα τραγούδια.

Με την 'εμπλουτισμένη' ορχήστρα πνευστών της Φιλαρμονικής και guest την ηθοποιό Χρυσανθή Γεωργιάδου (αφήγηση, τραγούδι) και τον Κώστα Ροζή (τραγούδι).

Η ιδέα και η επιμέλεια του εγχειρήματος είναι του Παναγιώτη Λευθέρη.
