Another word, commonly used by Kytherian-Australian's in the 1980's was "brizzes" - or "powerpoint" to describe Asians generally. Their father's, uncles, cousins - and often themselves - having suffered racial slurs and ethnic vilification - "dago's" and "wogs" - did not deter this group from passing on the vilifying practise to Asian-Australians. [Your author also pleads guilty to this charge.] The term never failed to amuse the Kytherians of this generation - particularly when encountered for the first time. Two Asians together were referred to as "diplassia brizzes" - "double powerpoints." "Brizzes" - "powerpoints" - Kytherian-Australians own little racial/ethnic slur. All meant in good spirit - be assured.
