Cumberland Cafe was operated by Cosma and Arthur Psaltis (Protopsaltis) who had migrated in Australia in the early 1920's Situated in Church Street, between Murray Bros and the Post Office, at the time, Cumberland Cafe was 'The Place' to dine in the Parramatta area, and indeed among the best in Sydney.
