The Athena Club was located at the corner of Keira and Crown Streets, Wollongong. It was owned by Andrew and Julia Zafiropoulos from Zemeno near Corinth and operated from 1957 to about 1959 or 1960. The club was a place to play cards, gamble and catch up with other Greeks.
