My grandmother Maria Calligeros came to USA on the early 1900's from Kythera with her brother Steve and sisters Froso. She left behind her oldest sister- Stamatoula her youngest sister Koola-and whom has 3 children- Monogli,Irene (who moved to Australia) and another daugher.
My grandmather was married to my grandfather George Tzanes who is also from Kythera. My grandmather and grandfather had 4 children- Diamonda who died when she was 16, my mom Irene who is still living, my Uncle Theordore and My Aunt Bessie who are both deceased.
