A memorial service for those killed in the shooting down of Malaysian airlines MH 17, over the Ukraine, will be held this Saturday the 30th August at Ayia Elesa church, Kythera, Greece.

The Archbishop of Kythera will be officiating at the service.

You all all encouraged to attend.

Greek Chuch services are very long, but arriving at about 9:30 will be acceptable.

Op 17 juli 2014 kwamen alle 298 inzittenden van de Boeing 777, vlucht MH 17 van Malaysia Airlines, om bij een explosie boven het door opstandelingen bezette Oost Oekraïne.

Ter nagedachtenis aan de slachtoffers van de vliegtuigramp zal komende zaterdag 30 Augustus een herdenkingsdienst gehouden worden in de kerk van het klooster Ayia Elesa, Kythira, Griekenland.

De dienst zal worden geleid door de aartsbisschop van Kythira.

Uw aanwezigheid wordt zeer op prijs gesteld.

Griekse kerkdiensten duren erg lang en beginnen vroeg maar indien u rond 09:30 uur aanwezig bent is dat prima.
