I am an academic and doing research on the Greek aliens in Australia from 1916. My grandfather was a registered alien and was married (in December 1920) to an Australian woman before the Nationality Act 1920 (Cth) came into force (1 January 1921). The is Act denaturalised any Australian woman (British subject) who married an alien, such as my grandfather. This meant my grandmother would have also become an alien if she had married him after 1 January 1921. I am interested if anyone has Greek descendents who were registered aliens, particularly if they married just before this Act came into force.
