Lourantos Village

The Village is named after its major benefactor, the late Sir Nicholas Lourantos MBE, a very proud Kytherian.

The hostel provides accommodation for 80 residents. There are 54 rooms with shared facilities, 20 single rooms with private facilities and 3 double rooms with private facilities. Each room has its own balcony, built-in cupboards and is carpeted. Four respite beds are available for emergency cases for 63 days at each of our hostels.

A Village supervisor is on 24 hour call to assist residents, if required.

St. Basil's Nursing Home has accommodation for 109 residents in one, two and four bed wards. Each ward is fully air-conditioned and has been designed for wheel chair use. The dining rooms and lounges face onto private courtyards and there is a chapel with a leadlight glass window, and a hairdressing salon.

The dining room, lounge room and chapel are sensitively separated from the nursing home wards.

St. Basil's encourages its residents to look after as many of their own needs as possible and thereby maintaining their independence and motivation.

The nursing home provides a Special Dementia Section.
