One of the most comprehensive views from anywhere on the island. The sea traffic is always interesting, particularly at night time, when the massive ocean liners pass by, with all their lights on.

Ayia Anastasia affords some of the best ocean views on the island of Kythera.
Looking to the east, down into Ayia Pelagia, One of the most beautiful areas on Kythera, with some of the best maintained and well designed houses on the island. The results of the 2007 fire can be seen on the left. Without a sudden favourable wind change during this fire most of the forested area in the northern part of the island (along with many houses, and perhaps many lives), would have been lost.
