A classic Emmanuel Sophios photograph of Karavas (in the 1950's?), with an almond tree in blossom in the foreground. Note the order of the town, and the highly maintained terraces. The church of Ayios Haralmbos is the high point, and the kendro of the village of Karavas.

Vintage postcard from the 1950's(?), of Karavas, looking North, with the Patrikios Agricultural School in the background. The young girl on the donkey can only be one person - Matina Cominos (nee, Zantiotis) - Sarandakos.

A long distance view across Karavas, from a vintage postcard. My guess is that the photo was taken in the 1950's. Can anyone date it more accurately?
